Fast Fix Jewelry and Watch Repairs - Stay away from this store
My watch went in for the hour hand to be reset. Yes they fixed that but now it fogs all the time and there is nothing they can do about it. Is this right? I asked for them to replace my watch seeing that they are the ones that caused this issue. My diving watch was returned with fogging. The store has tried to fix it but after 4 tries I was told by the manager that all he could do was refund me the $35 service fee because it's an older watch. I don't agree with this but agreed for the refund. I have waited over a week for the refund to show up in my cc account but it hasn't. This is unacceptable. I deeply regret taking my watch to your store. This watch means a lot to me and now it's useless.

On January 19 2019 @ 145pm I took my ring in for sizing. I was took I could come back at 400pm for pick up. When I arrived at 445pm I was told the jeweler was not on premises yet which wasn’t true he looked at my ring when I was there the first time and he had just ran past me as I was standing there, I was told to return at 845pm. When I arrived at 830pm to pick up the ring, he, the man who worked with my ring asked me if I had a paid receipt with me to pick up the ring 64.00 by the way, I gave it to him he gave me the ring and said let’s see if it fits it fit perfect and I walked out of the store to put my glasses on and look st the ring and immediately noticed the ring was different and he didn’t give me back my receipt so I went right back in to get it and again he acted like he’d never seen me before this was like 2 minutes later, he fumbled around looking for it and right about the time I was going to direct him to the trash can he pulled it out and handed it to me I ripped it out of his hand to make him aware that I knew what he did. I wanted to photograph the ring and compare the photos that I took before I took the ring in for sizing. Sure enough different stones. Not only that but the centrrstone was loose and fell into my lap as I was photographing it. Unbelievable. At his point it was too late to go back to the store but I returned on Sunday the next day with my fiancée and asked the man to please return the ring to me in its original state that I brought it to him or I would be calling the police. He said go right ahead so I did. I brought the police to the store and they informed me no criminal activity has happened. Which is mind boggling to me because this man stole my property and tried to replace it with *** completely obvious even to the officer but I could do nothing. The officer told me I had to take it to cival claims. What a bunch of *** The officer looked at the photos of the ring before I brought it to the store and what I was hand holding in my hand and shook his head. He told me this happens all the time. I’m sickened by this.

Is it a Front?

Every time I go in there they make an excuse NOT to help me. I just went there to get a battery put in my watch and she made an excuse about why she couldn't do it. I went to the kiosk around the corner and they did it in 5 mins. They are nice about it but I don't get much help when I go there mainly because of the cost of their services. They are very expensive. I don't understand how they stay open. Is it a Front? I started just going to the Dakota kiosk for a better deal.

THIS STORE STEAL Part of Original Automatic Watch!

BEWARE TO THIS STORE! Their WATCH REPAIR GUY not only fix the problem of my senior father's watch but also CHANGED THE ORIGINAL HAND OF THE WATCH thinking we will not noticed it. I talked to the owner over the phone almost 3 weeks from the time we got their service and she was in a hurry to put me down because she said she was with a customer when I told her what happened. Am I not a customer too? I paid for the service the day we left the watch to your store on May 7. The lady owner didn't even apologize but she defended Tony for nagging and defending the watch repair guy. I said Tony (their Jeweler) accused me where I get the idea the watch repair guy replaced the original hand of my father's watch but later on called me to say the watch repair guy did changed the original hand. He said the hand has the problem so he changed it & they can't get the same original hand since it was older model. FYI, before we get your service, we went to several watch repair stores. All told us the problem - the spring and cleaning - nothing else. We even went to Tissot repair shop who told us the same thing. We picked your store even though you charged most because Tony was a great salesman - mentioning they own many stores even in Europe, that you guys are in the business for 45 years, 100% guaranteeing the only problem of the watch is the spring and cleaning and we can get the watch on May 10.. You need to go back in training Tony and be honest, your store doesn't own all the Fast Fix Jewelry and Watch Repair. You own one of the franchise store only. You can order original hand to Tissot company no matter what model it is, the watch is less than 5 years old. You need to have word of honor, accept your store's mistakes, apologize and don't nagged at your costumer specially when they are right. Don't brag about you being there for 45 years. Until now you don’t know how to deal with customer service specially when you guys are wrong. Maybe this is not the first time your watch repair guy replaced original part/s of a watch. Who knows what else he stole. If he can steal a piece what else can he steal being unnoticed. You’re lucky because your previous costumer's didn't noticed them or maybe they did but nobody wrote a review about your illegal practice. DON’T PROMISE WHAT YOU CANNOT GUARANTEE, BE HONEST, APOLOGIZE, DON’T TOLERATE WRONG DOING & CORRECT YOUR MISTAKES.

I dropped off 5 watches and had no idea they charged so much. I normally pay 8-15$ dollars for a watch battery replacement. They charged me 175$!! And said that was a discount included because I did 5!! A total rip off and I will never use them again.

I tried to get ahold of the owner on a phone number I was given with the response of we will get back to you as soon as we can. Still no reply.

I’m not sure what to do next. I’m certainly not wearing a ring that was supposed to be custom made and looks like ***

Original review Jan 27, 2019
I was talked into having a ring custom made at the Erie, Pa location.
I was told one price and he wrote it on a small piece of paper. I agreed and put it on layaway to make payments.
When I went to make the last payment all of a sudden the price was almost $200 more
I lost the original little piece of paper so I had no proof
When I picked it up I was in a hurry so I just put it on and left the store.
After closer inspection that evening we noticed the whole bezel was set crooked and the diamond was not laying flat
Fast forward to going back to the store to see what they could do “Nick” has the audacity to stand there and come right out and call me a liar!
He swore up and down that I came in and looked at the ring and gave him my approval!!
That is total Bull$@!#
I NEVER SEEN the ring until the day I picked it up!
I sent a message to the owner and requested to see the security footage of me being in the store prior to picking up the ring!
No reply as of yet
I guess I should have known better than to go to a place that is only known for changing watch batteries!!!
I would NOT RECOMMEND going here for ANYTHING MORE THAN watch batteries!!! At least you can watch them do that to make sure you don’t get SCREWED!!!

Got nothing for $245 watch repair that proved beyond their competence after four failed attempts and refund refused.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Last November my 40 year-old mechanical Baume & Mercier Swiss watch was losing three minutes per day, which per past experience indicated it needed service to fix it, as I’ve done six or seven times over the years, always with success. It had been about ten years since the last service at Mayor’s and they were no longer doing the service locally but forwarding it to the manufacturer for a minimum $375 fee, so I brought it in to Fast-Fix in the Coral Square mall which represented themselves as being able to fix my kind of watch. After several days they called me and said the fee for fixing my watch would be $245 with a one-year guarantee and asked if I wanted to proceed and I said yes. A week of so later they called and said it was ready so I picked it up and paid the $245. But the watch was still losing three minutes per day so after a week I brought it back to Fast-Fix. Two weeks later I picked it up for the second time and found it was “only” losing about one minute per day, when the normal deviation for my watch has been less than ten seconds per day, but after about a week it got progressively worse and by early January was again losing three minutes so I brought it in to Fast-Fix for the third time. This third time they had the watch for several weeks and when I got it back it was at first gaining about one minute per day but then started slowing down and by May was again losing three minutes per day. I brought it in to Fast-Fix for the fourth time but this time went in on the one day per week when their watchmaker, Elena, who actually does the service, was there so I could discuss the matter with her personally. She told me that each time she put my watch on the “machine,” and as long as they had it, it worked perfectly, but assured me that whatever was wrong she would fix it this time. Eighteen days later (June 10) they said it was ready and I picked it up for the fourth time. The watch was still losing two minutes per day, but by this point, still having confidence in the competence and good faith of Elena and Fast-Fix, I began to think that this was the best my watch would be from now on, that it couldn’t be fixed to work as well as it had before. But by August my watch was losing 7-8 minutes per day, and with this I lost my confidence in the competence of Elena and Fast-Fix. So I called Elena and asked for a refund as after four failed attempts they had not performed their part of the contract (fixing my watch) and I had received nothing of value, no consideration, in return for the $245 I had paid them. She brushed the refund question aside, repeating again that my watch had worked perfectly on their “machine” and told me to bring it in again for a fifth time. They say one of the definitions of insanity is repeating the same failed action again and again. I no longer had any confidence in Elena and Fast-Fix so after some on-line research I took my watch to Raymond Lee Jewelers in Boca Raton who have a certified watchmaker on premises and specialize in Swiss watches. They told me the service fee would be $175 and I agreed and two weeks later picked it up. That was 33 days ago and since then it has gained about 50 seconds, a deviation of less than two seconds per day. So yesterday, being the day of the week when Elena is there, I returned to Fast Fix and related these facts to Elena and again asked if they could give me any refund of the $245 I had paid them as consideration of my part of our contract. She refused any refund of my unreciprocated consideration, again invoking her claim that my watch had worked perfectly on their “machine,” which only proved to me that she was clueless about what had been wrong with my watch, that she couldn’t find it and so couldn’t fix it as anything that didn’t show on the “machine” was beyond her ability and competence. But obviously the watchmaker at Raymond Lee had correctly identified the problem and successfully fixed it. When I pressed my case by bluntly relating these now obvious facts, and stating that taking my money for a job she was unable to successfully perform was misrepresentation and possibly fraud, she took offense and told me we were through and to leave the store. As I left I told her she was through but I wasn’t, having the intent to write this review.

Lied about battery cost

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My watch needed two batteries They tried to *** into getting 2 lifetime warranty batteries at 69.99 each. I told them no way the watch only cost me 100.00 I was told 14.98 per battery for a 1year warranty battery When I picked watch up I was charged 72.00 When I disputed they gave me some BS story that the 14.98 was the charge once u had the lifetime warranty battery. U come in and just pay 14.98 per battery lol With a life time warranty who pays again????? IT WAS ALL A MIX OF WORDS. So they scammed me out of the 72.00 I immediately disputed 40.00 of it since they lied about the deal.

Next time you ask to see the watch before you pay, once you get possession pay the quoted price with taxes . To protect yourself from them saying that you stole the watch bring some type of proof of purchase for the watch.

Also though this doesn't happen to me often, I also pay I'm 12 percent sales tax, even though Nevada has 10 percent sales tax. Just to cover my bases!

As consumers we can and must fight these fraudsters. That's the ONLY WAY THINGS WILL CHANGE!!!

Price gouging at it's worst

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I used to go to Chandler Mall Fast Fix but only because the local watch fixer no longer exists. I have paid $25 and more to have a watch battery changed. A $2 battery and $23 for opening and putting it in the watch. total time just about 2 minutes OR less. Last week I went to the Chandler Mall on Chandler Arizona location to ask for a watch strap pin - an item costing a cent. I found out later I could get 100 for $2 on Amazon. I did not want a repair, only the purchase of a pin. Being a regular customer over the years for battery replacement on numerous watches I thought I might be considered a good customer, worth taking care of for a minor 1 cent item. But no - the counter person wanted to charge me $25 !!! I said - please I just want the pin. She refused in a not too polite way- basically saying take it or leave it. So I hope other customers that have balked at Fast Fix watch battery replacement prices will read my complaint and take the following advice. You can purchase a watch tool set for $8 to $10, the opener tool it contains is basically a very thin metal item that will get under the lip of the watch back. If you have a watch back that unscrews you can purchase this particular opener separately for $7. All available from Amazon, some with free shipping. Watch batteries can also be bought from Amazon, just check the battery number on the watch battery back. Pharmacies also sell them and they range from $3 to $5. I will also be reporting Fast Fix Chandler to The BBB for price gouging.

This is a watch repair company... they are not in the business of selling watch parts from their inventory.

They exist to provide the service, with the right part, put together the right way, in a timely manner. And they politely ask you to pay for that.

If you want to work on your own watch, then by all means go to Amazon, buy the toolkit, buy the individual watch parts, and spend the time at your house to do the job. Auto Repair shops = Service Cars Auto Supply stores = Sell Parts Watch Repair Shops = Service Watches Watch supply shops = Sell Parts Your vilification of this business for not supplying you with the parts and tools to do the job yourself is misplaced.
